Bigg Boss Season 7 Day 6 Recap: Sandeep Wins Power Astra

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Season 7, we witnessed an exciting conclusion to the Power Astra task. The show, which started just a week ago, has been relatively smooth sailing, with host Nagarjuna maintaining a friendly rapport with the contestants.

Nagarjuna began the episode by sharing individual marks awarded to each contestant. He then dived into the much-anticipated Power Astra task, where one lucky contestant would claim this prestigious prize.


It was clarified that the initial 14 participants were called "contestants" and needed to secure the Power Astra to become official "housemates." This opportunity arose within their first week in the Bigg Boss house. Two contestants, Sandeep and Priyanka Jain, competed against two formidable bodybuilders in a challenge named 'Face the Beast.' They aimed to impress their fellow contestants to earn a spot in the Power Astra race.

Though Rathika and Shivaji emerged victorious in impressing Bigg Boss, the reasons for their selection remained unclear to the contestants. Nagarjuna stepped in during the weekend episode to provide much-needed clarity. Shivaji had entertained everyone with a twist involving coffee, winning Bigg Boss's favor. Rathika, when summoned to the activity room, astutely counted the occurrences of the word 'Udatha' in a song, answering correctly with 1056 repetitions. This intellect earned her a spot in the Power Astra race, clearing any confusion among the contestants.

With clarity provided, it was time for Sandeep and Priyanka to compete in the final Power Astra task. They changed into suitable attire, and Nagarjuna explained the challenge. The task involved walking on a bench and tossing balls into a basket within a 7-minute time frame. Sandeep emerged victorious, throwing an impressive 43 balls compared to Priyanka's 34. He became the first housemate in Bigg Boss Season 7 to wield the Power Astra, a development that promises to impact the dynamics within the house significantly.

As the audience anticipates the unfolding drama, the Power Astra now rests in Sandeep's hands, leaving us eager to see how this newfound power will shape his game in the coming days.
